Remembering 9/11

Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Today I am taking some time to remember those who died eighteen years ago: 9/11/01, and all the heroes that gave their lives in response to that horrible day. I'm remembering the heroes on flight 93, and how they chose to sacrifice their lives (and the lives of the rest of the innocents on that flight) in order to save the rest of us from utter chaos in the days after 9/11/01 IF the White House or Capitol Building had been hit.

I'm taking time to remember those who were wounded but survived.

I'm taking time to remember the families who lost the ones they loved, the widows (male and female), and the children who grew up without their parents.

Today I am truly grateful for all the sacrifices that were given both on that day and on every day that has come and gone since that day by the families of the fallen, and all the heroes we know as first responders.
