Bored at work....

Okay, so I am extremly bored, I sit at a desk all day, and have actually been working a lot of overtime for about the last month, so I've been even more bored lately.

I do have to admit though, that being stuck at work from about 8 am to 9 pm everyday, has helped me to stick with my eating better. I think I was a borderline binge eater, and that scares me. I can see now how out of control my portions had been and the fact that I would just stuff myself to the point that I would feel nauseous and want to throw up. I didn't though, I'm not bulemic. But now that I have been at work so much, I have been eating small, well portioned meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a small snack between lunch and dinner. It has also allowed me to eat dinner at a much more decent time (between 6 and 7) so I am not eating right before bed.

I have a huge glass that I keep at my desk, which I fill up at least 3 times a day and equals out to be approximately 9 glasses of water, and I don't drink anything but water now. This transition has been a lot easier due to this time at work. I am a little nervous for the time that I won't be working as much, when I have to go home and cook dinner for Jimmy and I and still maintain a healthy portion and balance.

The only other downfall to working so much is not having the opportunity to work out as much as I would like to, or at all for that matter. I know that working a lot shouldn't be an excuse for not working out, you can always find time. So that is what I need to do, I need to work at finding time to workout. I ordered The Firm, and it should be here, hopefully, this weekend, so I will be able to start that routine and tone up. I can already see a difference in my face and a small difference in my body, so ir is definately time to start toning and firming up.

Okay, I guess I've rambled on enough....as I titled this blog, I am bored at work.....

    There are a lot of great ways to workout at the office in what we can "unplanned exercises".
