Today, the first of September, a month in which we generally get our first smattering of snow, we broke the high temperature record. I don't say that to brag. Tomorrow promises to be even hotter. At least we get a 35 degree drop at night. I did my first bandage change on my cellulitis. I decided I need another hand and eyes on stalks so I can see what I'm doing. After getting out my hand mirror and running through my vocabulary of swear words in interested combinations, I think I got the correct bits covered. I don't go back to the wound clinic for 3 weeks, so I'll have plenty of practice.

The weather has been absolutely insane since last October. I try not to think about what winter will bring.

It's difficult at times, to take care of our needs. Hopefully, it will get easier and you will get better at it.
