How To Write A Spark Blog
I have been writing a blog every day for 10 years, and find that it has helped me on my journey to better health. I find that my thoughts are more focused throughout the day because I have created a place to write. Many of my blogs have become The SparkPeople featured blogs, and I regularly get compliments on my writing.
Here's how to get started or to improve your personal blogs:
1. Start with your blog idea, and put it on paper. Writing about victories and failures. Even if it's not a coherent story at this time, just write it down! Write about your hobbies, interests, challenges, and your personal story.
2. Revisit the blog, find the theme and add to the story. Do this 4-5 times.
3. Add a photo or meme to make it interesting.
4. Look for a quote to tie your blog together.
Don't be afraid to tell your story! Write down your ideas, and you will be surprised at what you see. I'm always so happy when I read the comments of people who have similar experiences! Give it a try!
