Paid Work Day

Saturday, August 31, 2019

Today I was able to refocus on things I had to put to the side most of this week so that I could deal with the school issue. I spent the whole day on paid work and got through most of it that needed addressed. Tomorrow I will begin working on the budget as it's almost time to set September's. I have been checking all the accounts daily though as we're still juggling two sets of "identical" accounts while transferring from one bank to the other. Will be glad when September is past as I can close one set down once I know I caught everything that automatically hits the account.

Tim left for Colorado about 1 this afternoon and should be at his sister's place and according to Google Map he is about 2 1/2 hours out. He said traffic was awful due to the holiday so it slowed him down a little. He will be coming back on Monday, but I'm glad he got out to attend his family reunion. Wish the rest of us could have gone as well, but these kids and their schedules have definitely changed family travel that used to come so easy with homeschooling.

Isaac wasn't feeling well today so I had him keep to himself to rest and gave him some cold meds. Seemed a bit better tonight, but I am sure he's been feeling it for a couple of days thinking it was allergies. Now I just pray I haven't already caught whatever he's got going. Tomorrow morning he will spent 2-3 hours with Patrick and then he plans to mow the lawn. That will be my "alone" time for the day until bedtime.

Maegann had a great day at school and is just gaining regular clients all the time so her schedule is getting very busy. Happy for her as that keeps a lot of the drama at bay as she's got things going.

Tonight I've been Sparking and catching up on some recordings from TV. Will probably head to bed pretty soon, but I'm not tired and here we go with my usual not sleeping as well the first night Tim is traveling.

Tomorrow's "dream" list is:
*budget & first of the month bills
*fireplace cleaning
*box up school items/books from the living room
*meal plan

Hang in there! Theatre rehearsals and work/college schedules kept us from traveling with my husband this last time. I miss family travel, too, and we are homeschooling. I sleep terribly when he is away!

    Janet,

With Tim's job, will he ALWAYS be traveling? If this is so, pray and ask God to help you sleep soundly as God never slumbers or sleeps. I know it may be a physical body in the bed but would it help to get a body pillow? It bothersome to me knowing that you don't get good sleep when Tim is gone because it does affect your health.

I am sorry that Isaac is not feeling well and I pray that you don't get what he has and that you stay well. And Maegann is doing so fantastic!!! Please let her know that I am right there with her and I am so happy for her!!!! I don't even know if she remembers me but if you feel comfortable please reminder her of who I am.

    Blessings!

I am sorry that Isaac did end up catching a cold. I hope that he's feeling better and I pray that you don't catch it. Glad to hear that Maegann is doing great. Hope that Tim's trip goes well. Enjoy your weekend!

We've been feeling an allergy and or cold like thing here too. Good that Megan has more clients and less time for drama, it's highly overrated and some people drag us in like it or not, I believe I have seen that with some of the people in her classes-the drag her in. Praying your husband has a safe trip.
