8/26/19 - Bedtime

Monday, August 26, 2019

Since I don't have dogs, I celebrated National Toilet Paper Day by purchasing six-triple rolls of Northern tissue. I like not having to change the rolls so frequently.

In spite of the fact our area got a fair amount of rain, I had to add seed to the bird feeder three times. I've got a bunch of hungry birds who know the location of the feeder. I think they bring their buddies.

While the rain was a good thing, the garden is rather muddy. With all the mud on the bottom of my shoes, I'm one inch taller.

Sweet dreams everyone!!!

I love the bigger rolls. Hard to believe we used to use such small ones.

I agree about the TP, the bigger the roll the better. Why is it everyone hates changing those rolls, I mean really, they are light, you don't need to exert much energy, a child can do it, as you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out, but no one wants to do it. lol

We haven’t had much rain, need it! All the song birds have disappeared here. Lots of crows though.....and the trees are slowly starting to change.....

Dang - I can't believe I missed National Toilet Paper Day! (I should have checked your blog earlier...). Feels like I'm constantly changing the rolls around my house. Maybe it would encourage DH if I had one of those signs that say "Changing the toilet paper roll will not cause brain damage"

Well... at least you haven't lost an inch like most of us septarians... emoticon
All that rain's coming our way tonight and tomorrow; all the fruit farmers around here will rejoice. So will I.

Happy that you celebrated National Toilet Paper Day with your purchase.

When I hear someone say, "S/he has the appetite of a bird." my response is always that they have never fed birds.

It's been raining/storming here since yesterday afternoon. Flash flood warnings are posted and some of the schools are running snow routes due to water over the roads. I'm just plain tired of crazy weather.

    Have a nice evening. emoticon

I love how you celebrated the day. I too hate changing roll so often. What excellent exercise heading out & filling feeders often & think of the mud on feet as added weights for the hike. 😀
