I slept well overnight, but fell asleep about 8:30 on the sofa when the house got quiet and got in another 90 minutes. It helped though as I felt rested for the day. Once up and around I got supper in the crockpot, cleaned up the kitchen and then got busy on the stack of papers. I also got my time entered as another pay day is coming next week.
Tonight, just taking it easy and hanging out with the family although both kids are already sound asleep at 9:30.
Isaac had a good first week of school and does have a few math problems to finish this weekend. I haven't been able to check on assignments, etc. yet as the school district's computer system was hacked on Wednesday night so they've been scrambling to get everything back online. He had thought about checking out cross-country, but decided not to after all. I think that's a good decision with everything else he is doing and knowing homework hasn't even kicked in yet.
Maegann had a good week too. She found out today that the next several Friday/Saturday's are booked with returning clients who requested her. One is actually a lady that nobody could make happy and she never tipped. Well, she tips Maegann and she's got herself scheduled out weeks in advance now. In her down time between clients she was working on braids. These were very difficult for her as she couldn't get her hands and brain coordinated to make it happen. She is finally getting them done evenly and tight. Here are the pictures you sent me today:
The other thing going on is an upcoming competition for makeup and/or hairstyling. As she is at the school for both tracks (M-W & W-F) she can do both if she wants. She has already chosen the makeup she wants to do and is hoping her friend Ethan will be willing to be the model as he already has the long, straight hair and he likes "weird" stuff.
The theme is nature and I can see the "tree". She just wants to be sure to do something different.
Tomorrow there isn't really anything planned other than the usual. I do want to spend time cleaning the master bath/bedroom and going through the containers with clothes that are too small. I am believing most would not be worn even if I could wear them as they are too young for me now. But first I am sure there will be extended sleep as I will be the one up to make sure Maegann gets off to school. Saturday's are 8am start time so a bit earlier start time here as well.
