The Journey is What you Make it!

When looking back on my weight loss journey, I have had many ups and downs. It has not been easy, but it has been satisfying.
Your journey is what you make it. It is a mind over matter situation. There have been days when I wake up and think I will work out tonight as I am tired this morning. I have also had thoughts about food and how one-time won't hurt. My thoughts are my worst enemy during my journey. Realizing this is the larges accomplishment.
I now talk myself into exercising and not eating the cookies, ice cream, or overeating. Throughout the process, I have learned many things about myself. I know what foods positively affect me and what affects me negatively.
Remember, this is your journey. Listen to your body and what it is telling you. Use the tools through Sparkpeople, and you will accomplish your goals.
