day eighty-four

Thursday, August 22, 2019

Older son passed the last test he needed. Tomorrow he'll be going to visit his half brother and family for the weekend. Next week will be his last week of work and not sure of his schedule. Labor day his recruiter should come pick him up and take him to the MEPS center and on Sept 3rd he'll travel to boot camp. Younger son starts back to school on Monday but then gets a 3 day weekend with Labor Day the following Monday. I think I have everything I need for his lunches. Did a big grocery shopping today as got lots of fruit and veggies for older son. I kind of forgot he isn't going to be here for the weekend but of course I'll be eating them too. My son finally emailed me pictures. He hasn't cut his hair since I think about March or April no matter what I said but I didn't really bug him about it. He knows that it will be coming off in the Army. I found it strange that neither son said a word about my short cut or coloring my hair. Several ladies at water fit commented today. Of course they said they liked it. So here goes...

At water fit today our teacher wasn't there so we all think she had her baby but they didn't know at the front desk. They did tell us that a substitute was on the way but would be a little late. She was 20 minutes late and not a water aerobics teacher. One of the ladies in the class mostly taught the class for her. Of well at least we had a class.
Have a great Friday and weekend.

LOVE the pic of you and your DS. LOVE your hair color and cut. EASY CARE!!!

Wishing your DS all the very best as he heads off to Boot Camp. And definitely, pass on my thanks to him for choosing to serve.

DS graduated Boot Camp @ Ft. Leonardwood in July, 2012, then was stationed in Alaska!

    Life will be an adventure.

That is one beautiful photo!! Your cut and color really look good, but it's that radiant smile that grabs all the attention.

What a handsome son you have. Hope you will post a before and after picture once he's through boot camp.
Please tell him, "Thank you for your service" for me.

Have a happy Friday. emoticon emoticon
