My Goodies From Grocery Shopping

Thursday, August 22, 2019

Yes it's that time of year, pumpkins are coming. I love pumpkin and can't wait to try the pumpkin flavored yogurt that I found yesterday.

I got 2 different packages of riced-cauliflower. I also got one of my favorites...frozen broccoli with cheese sauce. But these riced-cauliflower packages might become my 2nd favorite.

VEGGIE TOTS: More new things that I found but didn't buy..maybe next time. I like trying new ways to eat veggies. Wishing now that I had gotten some, cuz it takes me so long to ever get back into town to do any grocery shopping. Seeing as they are a frozen food item I can't order them online and have them shipped to me.

I remembered to get the Sargento cheese sticks but I forgot to pick up shredded cheese,.
Sargento is a bit expensive but when it comes to cheese sticks it's the brand I like.

I have tried almond milk before and I have tried coconut milk before, but this is the first time I have ever seen 1 container with both milks mixed together. Anyways I ended up buying 2 different brands to figure out which one I like best.

Maybe I am fooling myself to think these are better (healthier) than potato chips. A friend got me to try them a few years ago but it has been a long while since I had any. So I got 2 different flavors.

I didn't buy these, I was just taking notice of the price. I can remember as a child that cheap white bread was .50 cents a loaf and cheap wheat bread was .60 cents. My dad paid the extra dime for wheat bread. I have no idea what kind of bread he gets now (we live on opposite sides of the country). But paying over $4 for a loaf of toast and sandwich holders is ridiculous.

I also stocked up on tuna fish, but forgot to get picture of those prices.

What's prices look like in your store?

I love unsweetened Silk cashew milk. That's about the same as your pricing. Otherwise, the other things I don't buy.

My boys didn't like the rice cauliflower so I just get the regular frozen cauliflower. Usually can get most bags of just your plain frozen veggies (think usually 12 oz.) for a dollar. I love the Harvest Snap peas and get then at Dollar Tree. I'll have to look for the black beans. Dollar tree also has bread at times and I get if they have 100% whole wheat usually Natures Own or Wonder Bread. Been a while but use to have rye bread at times.

I don't buy most of these so I don't know the prices on any except for the Unsweetened Almond Milk and the cheese and our price is the same.

I have discovered rice cauliflower emoticon and really enjoy it! Vegetables are my favorite meals so I had eaten cauliflower before and now, it's in so many delicious versions, even grilled. Oh emoticon I get my bread from the Nature's Own bread outlet as it goes bad too quickly. Good going and great emoticon Try yourself some plain yogurt with granola, delish!
