Goals & Gratitude 8/21/19

Well, I got some sad news this afternoon. Yet another one of my friends is getting divorced. That's the second couple this year that I friends with that this has happened. For both it was a shock to me because I thought their marriages were strong, but I guess not. It certainly does not encourage me to get married.
I am down to the lowest I have been (195.2 lbs.) since 2015. I think it's because I cut out coffee this week so I haven't been drinking my calories. I also haven't been nighttime eating. I'm really working on that right now. My main goal to not eat once I go to bed, even if I can't sleep. I've been reading at 1 AM to try to quell that. I've also been listening to my audiobooks. I've finished two books already this week on my Nook and I will finish one book on Audible either tonight or tomorrow. I would really like to start the Biggest Loser challenge in a couple of weeks at below 195 lbs. I'm active, not honorary, this time around, so I really want to lose some weight.
I'm slowly getting caught up in school. I'm caught up in my Auditing class as of this morning. I finished all the work that was due Monday and turned it in. My Managerial Acc't class is another story. I have until Friday to finish the work that was due this week. I started the work today, but didn't come close to finishing it. I went to the gym in the late afternoon and then I lose my energy when I got home, as typically happens. This is why I tend to work out late in the evening as I'm usually so tired afterwards I'm ready for bed. I will try walking tomorrow and Friday at 6:30 or 7 PM like I was doing before. While I like going to the gym in the afternoon, I just get nothing done afterwards!
1) Do the dishes.
2) Put away the laundry that's in the dryer.
3) Start reading Ch. 11 for Auditing.
1) Finish the homework for Managerial Acc't.
2) Work on the study guide for the same class.
3) Continue reading for Auditing.
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) That I was moderately productive today.
2) That I did get to the gym.
3) New books.
