Overdoing not so smart

Well I guess my exercise routine has caught up with me. I have been trying to increase my intensity in my workouts and I guess I overdid a bit. Haven't felt too good the last few days...pain across my shoulders and up into my neck. Had follow up appointment with dr. and he said I should try cutting back on the elliptical and make sure to change up my exercises. He reminded me that I'm not 20 anymore, and that I probably should have eased into the exercise a bit more slowly. I wasn't having any pains or short of breath during my exercises, so I figured I was good to go. So I have taken it easy the last few days and will start back up with just walking for a week or 2 before I get back to my aerobic work outs. I guess I better stop trying to keep up with the 20 somethings on the workout video's! Hope everyone had a great day today.

    I'm currently dealing w/ my pelvis going out after I pushed my walking intensity & time one day when I thought I was just a little tight up on one side. Flat on my back all day today, so frustrating. Wrong kind of retired!
