"The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don't wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope." (Barack Obama)
Happy Hump Day!!!
Again, from the bottom of my heart thank you for the support and suggestions on everything. It really does mean a lot to me. I finally feel like I’m getting myself back on track with things because these past two years have been all kinds of crazy.
A couple of days ago I’m talking to my Mom about the things my doctor wants me to do and out of the blue she said she is ready to get back on track too. I’ve always let my Mom do her thing and when she is ready to move forward with life, I’ll be right by her side. I’m so happy that she is ready to start doing things because weight loss is hard to do when not everyone in the house is on board, but she is. She wants to lose ten pounds before Cuinn comes back for Halloween. Tomorrow we’re heading out to get some groceries and lots of fresh Fruits and veggies. I think we’re going to go to Sprouts this time. The fridge needs some food because it is empty now. When my grandparents were here the first day my grandpa saw how full it was, he wondered how we’re going to eat all of that, but through the week he saw it empty out. I have a recipe for a salad I’m making for dinner and will post the recipe tomorrow.
We broke a heat record on Monday at 98 and then on Tuesday it was just hot. On the bright side, it started cooling off Tuesday night. We’re hoping the cooler weather stays around for a couple of days. I’m going to mow the front in the morning, but with my luck it’ll be raining.
Have a great day! Stay cool because it’s been hot out there.
