We are leaving for 2 weeks in our RV. We meet up with the same group at the same place each year. My narrow path for my diet and exercise - lunch a low-calorie Marie Callender meal, homemade soup, or for breakfast a Slimfast Shake; walk, and ride my bike. Again remind myself I never start healthy new habits/routines when I am away from home. If I a not currently reading a book, using light weights, or exercise bands, don't bring it. It will only take up space and never get used. Take running shoes, sunscreen, MP3, and lightweight exercise clothes, that I will do. My vacation goal is to maintain my weight!
Tomorrow I have to get up earlier and get busy. I need to pack, clean the house and do my TOPS weigh-in. I can't remember how much I weighed at my last meeting on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Hopefully, I have another good weigh-in.
Saturday I made 2 quite large batches of soup. I tried a new Spark recipe Creamy Cauliflower and Roasted Red Pepper Soup. I like it. And I made the Indian lentil soup again. Altogether I have 50 servings, that are in the freezer. I will take some on vacation.
Last night I went a little crazy and ate the kids' M&M's, Coffee Crisp, and I have 1.5 cups of maple walnut ice cream. I recorded it all in Spark and it's one of my highest calorie days this year. Usually, when I can't sleep I stay in bed and listen to my audiobook. But I couldn't seem to relax and stay still, so I got up and on a mission!
Today my friend and I went for massages, lunch at the mall, and a little shopping. The massage loosened my back, so hopefully, I will sleep better tonight.
Now we are going down the street for happy hour with our friends. It feels like a vacation already.
