It never did rain at all yesterday, so our straw yards and low crops are still here.
We were up and at 'em this morning, running an errand and then on the road. I just steered Luciano` and he took us to Harrisville Harbor! The marina is pretty, the weather was beautiful and sunny, but very humid, as usual.. The water was up above some of the docks, but the jetty is still above water. I like to take pictures of different boat and/or ship names. I did not really see many.
We stopped in AuGres for breakfast, headed through the Lake Huron beach towns, but I decided to go on up to Harrisville. We stopped in the state park and I waded around in the water, took some pics and found some pretty stones/rocks. After spending some time there, we headed north to the harbor. We were the only ones there after a few minutes.
I do not know where the next trip will take us, but with all of the road construction, we need to take detours and I ended up having to go past my ramp and head west of it and go for a mile or so, backtrack and come home the back way. US 23 has construction, as well as I 75 both directions, so we just took our time and I let Luciano have his head and while up north, I passed a car on one of those wonderful passing lanes. I floored his pedal and we sailed past this guy like he was in reverse. It was not good for the gas mileage, but I wanted to see the difference between his 3.6l and Vito's 2.5l. It reminds me of the horses I rode: first mare was a quarter horse, very fast at a gallop. Next one was an Arab:wow! Big difference!
We are back home in our cool house, out of the humidity.. a very nice day.
