Never let a stumble in the road be the end of the journey!

What a great quote and yes I am moving past my mysterious weight gain working harder to get those last little pounds off and back to goal.
For those who are facing 200#,100# 50# 25# just know what you are doing to lose those pounds is what you do to maintain your weight loss. Make sure it is sustainable!

Maintenance is tough and not constant we have ups and downs but my objective is to catch it before it becomes more than 2#. This week my weigh-in was a loss! I am still working to lose those last few pounds to get to a healthy weight for me.
So tracking is my friend, more activity more water and living life!

This reminds me of my favorite saying: Don't let the imperfect be the enemy of the good.

You are absolutely right about doing what is sustainable. McDougall Plan is not a diet, it's a lifestyle (even though there are different levels for people losing and maintaining, or people with heart disease or no heart disease.

Your mention of attacking weight gain at the point it is small is wonderful. I blogged about Betty White's approach and it was similar.
