Last party over

All the summer toys are put away, chairs stacked and tables covered. Another summer of memories end as well as another season of life. My parents love their parties and entertaining friends and community but can really tell the toll it has on them because of it. My mom’s personality is changing so much and her Alzheimer’s is becoming more evident every time I am with them. My niece from Ohio drove up to surprise them and instead of being grateful were resentful because it was more people that had invited themselves they were not counting on. They have always had friends, going places and doing things and we are the total opposite and don’t have any. Going through this past year I didn’t have one person I could call, that came beside me, or was there to encourage me, support me or come alongside me except my faithful SparkPeople which I am so thankful for
