Thank you so much for the supports and suggests from yesterday’s blog about getting myself back on track. That’s one of the many things that I love about Sparkpeople, the support we all give each other. Admitting that you failed at something is not easy, but the positive side is you can try again. That’s exactly what I’m going to do, get up and try again.
I appreciate all the suggests and noticed the Keto diet was mentioned a few times, but my doctor has been talking about the Mediterranean diet because if my love for pasta. I really love all kinds of pasta and do like the new one made with different grains and other things. I mean my go-to meal is pasta with lemon, black pepper, and parmesan cheese. I do have a book on the diet and what to eat and will pull that out today and start reading it. My eating is pretty good, but it’s the snacking that is the big problem. Today I’m clearing out my snack bin (yes, I said bin) and getting rid of the stuff. I just can’t keep them in the house because I’ll want to eat them, and we all know that’s not good. I’m going to work on a menu for the week.
Today is my Grandma’s 94th birthday. That is just incredible, it really is. We’re going to go down later in the week to celebrate with her. Tomorrow is Cuinn’s birthday and he’s going to be 27, WOW! That still shocks me because I remember when he was born. Still crossing our fingers that he’ll be able to come back out for Halloween. We already have some fun ideas for him.
The heat is back and it’s going to be 96 today, ugh! Is it winter yet? Have a great Sunday!
