Out With Adults

After spending a fun summer with kids, it was nice to have dinner out with friends last night. Before dinner, our friends came over for an hour, which was a good reason to finish putting vacation things away and get the house in shape. I planned for the dinner by skipping lunch, as I honestly wasn't hungry. I ordered an 8-ounce sirloin steak and took over an hour to finish my meal. I enjoyed every bite of it! During the evening hubby and I danced, then later had a 40-minute walk along the beach.

Saturday afternoon hubby and I walked to the freggie store, and on the way stopped to visit the kid with the cool-aid stand and cupcakes. I selected a cupcake, paid for it and told the kid I would pick it up on the way home. Later I split it with hubby. My fridge is bursting with freggies and we are going to the USA on Tuesday, so I am cooking big batches of soup, so nothing goes to waste, and I have a lot of calorie appropriate lunches on hand.

Hubby went to church this morning and I am home relaxing and planning for our 2-week getaway. On our last trip I packed way more clothes than I wore, as it was rainy and cool most of the time, also unknowingly I packed clothes that are too big for me.

Today I will edit my wardrobe again, remove more big clothes and pack. It's great exercise trying on clothes. Yesterday as I tried on clothes, I took pictures to be more objective about how they look. I tried on 2 pairs of white capris and my white jeans. It felt good to weed out a pair of capris that are way too big. I still have enough clothes, but when I lose 10 more pounds, I will need to shop. My closet has gone from rather full to just right.
