Mt Evan's was the highest peak that we ever climbed. At 14,721 feet, it was a massive feat. It was also difficult to breathe that thin Colorado air! We were well over a mile high, and we loved it.
We hiked Evans in 2012. and I felt amazing! It took us a week to acclimate to the height before climbing. I still felt like I had asthma and could not get enough oxygen to feel comfortable. We took the pills to help get us acclimated, but thin air is hard to adjust to.
