I can do it…

I can do it x 10.

I can do this because I am determined!
I can do this because I am committed!
I can do this because I want to be look and feel healthy!



Regularly telling myself I can do this reminds me that what I do can be positively impactful to my long term health! (exercise from 100 days of Weight Loss - Day 7)

Another day in the life of Kohl...

Slept from 11pm until 7am. (8 hours)

Weighed in at 215.4 which is the first time I went up since I started 100 Days of Weight Loss. I’m up 0.2.

Breakfast
Blueberry Cheerios, 3/4 cup
skim milk, 1/2 cup

Diced a 10# bag of potatoes into the crockpot and will mash them for dinner.

Tidied up a bit this morning before our friends came over. My two youngest daughters played a the game of Life with their girlfriend while I talked to her mom about how to tackle the chemistry course that her daughter and D15 will be taking together. The instructor said to do the experiments in groups of 2-4 and for mom’s to step back and allow the students to work together on their own. Our daughters feel comfortable with doing these with each other. We will do them at my house every other Wednesday so D12 can keep working on her subjects while they do their thing. We’ve also come up with a suggested out of class schedule for the girls so no given day is too heavy on time. Trying to keep stress levels to a minimum.

Lunch

raspberry Greek yogurt, 5.3 ounces
supreme pizza, 1 slice

chocolate covered pretzels, 7
water, 1 cup (after lunch)

It’s Seeking God’s Face Ordinary Time Week 10 Day 3. After reading the Bible song and reading I focused on prayer. First I pray for a love and commitment to the communities in which God has placed our family. May we be of help in the homeschooling, theatre, library, and neighborhood circles we are a art of. May we be supportive of those who work at the university my daughter attends. May we find ways to use our God given gifts in our church. May God equip us to show hope and love through serving in the public arena.

Began working on the homeschool notification for D15.

Decided not to mash the crockpot potatoes. Just kept them diced. Pan-fried pork chops Pioneer Women style for dinner.

Dinner
water, 1 cup (before dinner)
breaded walleye, 2 ounces
breaded pork chop, 3 ounces
boiled potatoes, 1-1/2 cups
black grapes, 1/2 cup
water, 1 cup (after dinner)

My dad came home from the hospital today! He seems like himself again! My husband, my four daughters, and I visited with my parents this evening in their home. My youngest brother also stopped by for a visit.

Snack 1
multigrain bread, 2 slice
butter, 1 teaspoon
black grapes, 1/2 cup

Signed up for fall semester of chorus at the university. D22 and D15 signed up, too.

It’s been pouring rain all day so no laps around the block today but I did take my minimum 6000 daily steps which included marching in place for 20 minutes.

Snack 2
Oreos, 3 cookies
skim milk, 1 cup
