Learning NOT To Care!

Slowly but surely, I'm gaining a conscious ignorance about what others think. I am no longer a people pleaser. I'm a lot happier with this attitude.
— People will always find someone to talk about.
— My self-worth isn’t defined by an approval rating. No matter what the naysayers and the …
— They don’t know my journey, where you’ve been or where I'm heading.
— Trust your intuition and who you are deep down inside. It will get you to where I need to be.
People can be so cruel in their judgements. I just have to forgive them and shake it off. I have my own road to walk. What others think and say is not as important as what God says about me. I am a child of God!

Ignoring the opinions of others is a tough thing to do, but worth it. Learning not to allow the plans and interests of others to override my own plans and interests has made me a happier person. I listen respectfully, and take a moment to think about what was said. If it doesn't help me, I let it go.
Taking the unwanted ideas and advise of others is like eating fish; take the good, but spit out the bones. I am me. I can be free.
