Another Monday has shown up. I'm not ready for it. It's likely I won't be ready for Tuesday, either. So many things on my list that should have been finished by now haven't even been started. I blame the weather. I'm just glad I live in Colorado. Our relative humidity is between 15 to 25%, except when it is planning to actually rain. Even then, you have to live here to tell the humidity is up. I've heard of the heat index, which combines humidity with temperature. Here on the high plains, combining the two generally means it doesn't feel as hot as it is, as long as you stay out of direct sunlight. That low humidity is what helps us wear a long sleeved t-shirt outdoors when it's 40 degrees and live without air conditioning many days in the summer. I've lived where the humidity makes you think you're drinking the air. It would take a personal air conditioning suit with a helmet to get me to move back to those places.
