Yikes!! Over a month again...

Still hanging in there.

Been over to the western part for a family reunion, which was kind of a disappointment in a lot of ways. There was a poor turnout from my kids' generation, they had other plans... The weather on Saturday was downright miserable, low to mid-60's and windy. By Sunday afternoon, almost everyone was ready to call it quits... On a brighter note, I did get in some visiting with some cousins I hadn't seen in ages.

Then there were the vehicle incidents - a cousin's son and family had their motorhome die and my brother had a deer collision with my sister's camper, which put a fair sized hole in one corner of the front of it. Fortunately her cats were in a different area of the camper. Both incidents were in the Libby/Troy area.

The weather on the way home that week was over 100F, but my car's air conditioner did a wonderful job.

Not doing very well on the food front, too much snacking and not enough fruits and veggies. I have been working on that and the water.

Time to get this posted before the thunderstorm out there takes out the power...

Have a good week everyone.

Sorry to hear the reunion was not well attended by the younger generation but glad you were able to see others in your family

My dad used to complain that my brother would not go to any of the family reunions or get interested in our genealogy. I expressed interest in both but was never invited and was ignored.

Thunderstorms here too for 4 hours!! Ugh. Hot here this week.

Sorry it was not as well attended as you'd hoped for. I'm one who never makes or takes time for reunions. Just not my thing. Was never close to family growing up. Same with class reunion. Never been to one of those either?

Sorry to hear about the car troubles. One of my friends came back from a big family vacation/delayed memorial service so frustrated with all the vehicle incidents he had far from home feeling like the repairs were so expensive but no tools to do himself. 2 of his 4 sons also had delays and detours with vehicle problems.

I'm doing fine with the water and veggies but having trouble staying away from corn chips!
