Today is a NEW day and I'm sharing for accountability. I've been a SP member for years and my weight has gone up and down over this period of time. Today it's up to almost its heighest point again and Today I begin a new way of living and looking at things.
I'm not dieting. I'm working to shift my addictive and emotional eating ways to healthier ways of living. This is 4 Life!
I've struggled with my weight for so long and I'm tired of fighting it. I'm accepting where I am TODAY and living in the present looking at each moment as an opportunity for making healthier choices versus the choices that brought me to were I stand today. I feel uncomfortable in my skin and my health is suffering with constant headaches, body aches, heartburn, stomach issues, etc.
I see my doctor this coming Friday to have some tests done and to get the ok that physically things are as they should be and if not, then we'll address those issues too.
I'm now about 7 weeks post-hysterectomy surgery and ready to jump back into my regular workouts. My daughter has moved out again so I can focus on my own health issues as a priority. I am also focused on launching more of my coaching business and programs - which means I will lead by example, including living what many of my clients have or are also experiencing.
I have a long term goal of feeling my best by end of March 2020 as we'll be going on our yearly sunny destination getaway in April and perhaps sliding in a wedding while away (keeping it very low key - eloping style lol).
So this is my focus... just for today my plan is to enjoy good hydration and the benefits of this water. Recipe below image:

SASSY WATER RECIPE
• 2 liters water (about 8 ½ cups)
• 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (I just cut mine in small pieces instead of grating)
• 1 medium cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
• 1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
• 12 small mint leaves (less if they are larger leaves)
• Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and let flavors blend overnight.
• Drink the entire pitcher by the end of each day
