BIBLE VERSE FOR SUNDAY
Sunday, August 04, 2019
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope.
In the chaos of everyday decisions and demands, it's easy to forget God is guiding us. The story of Ester reminds us that although we may not see the fruition and impact of His plans immediately, He is working on our behalf. Ester was an orphan, raised by her uncle, and became queen to a foreign king. When an evil plan to annihilate the Jews was announced, she had a choice to believe that God had orchestrated her ascension to the throne to save the Jews or to hide her identity for the sake of self-preservation.
Although we may never experience such a shocking revelation, we are faced with the same choice. Will we trust God or trust ourselves? Jesus frequently referred to Himself as a shepherd, and a good shepherd does not leave his sheep to fend for themselves. A good shepherd protects and leads his sheep.
Will you trust Him today? God in His wisdom knows what is best.
I am praying along with a few of my friends here in Canada for the families of the victims who were killed in Texas and the injured ones for a complete healing from God. Blessings to the Police and Emergency workers who were there to save the injured ones. God bless
everyone involved in the mass shootings,
and sending my love to them as well.
Thank you Spark Friends for coming to my blog and posting your comments. Sending God's richest blessings to you and your families so God will shoe out His Ultimate Love, Comfort and Compassion in your good times and in times of trouble. God will never leave you nor forsake you and will continue to walk with you, leading you down paths of righteousness until you come to be with him in heaven. God bless you. I am praying for you in Jesus's Most Precious Name. Amen.
