Not so regular...

...at doing the language lessons on Duolingo every day. I've been occasionally missing a day here and there. Lately, I've been visiting the early lessons for German, which is a language I took in high school and for college foreign language requirements. It almost feels like cheating, what with these basic lessons being kinda like getting on a bike after years away. Sure, the pedals might feel a little weird for a few minutes, but you'll be just fine after a bit. And so it is with the basic German, putting in minimum effort to get to the 30 XPs (experience points, I guess) that I've set as a goal every day. One change they made a bit ago makes it even easier, since there's a bonus point amount for the number of questions you get right in a round, max of 5 bonus points if you get them all right.
So, basically, easy lessons plus bonus points for getting things right, means basically 5 minutes a day rather than 10. Like I said, feels like cheating.
On another note, you know how we never go anywhere without our phones these days? Well, I've managed to totally space out and go out without my phone of two separate occasions during the past week. In neither case was the phone critical to where I was going (for either GPS, or communication purposes), or I might have turned back to get it. But once is a fluke, two times, well, let's just say I already assume I'm going to have horrible memory issues when I grown up, being already affected by CRS disease (Can't remember squat, or another word, if you like), at my not particularly advanced age. Figure it's just going to get worse.
