10 Days to complete my "One Year Experiment" to Lose 'da Booze
Saturday, August 03, 2019
I'm 10 days away from completing my own "One Year Experiment" to #LoseDaBooze and reset my counter as of yesterday with our return from the cottage.
I successfully had 277 consecutive days AF (alcohol free), then ended up having some days with drinks (47 days total) and wrapping up the 365 Days with a total of 318 Days AF. That's 87% AF compared to my stats dating back to where I was only 18% AF.
I'm all about self-improvement and I've built up to this. The past two years I was 72% AF.
What I've learned in this as I reached out to those who inspire me with their level of health/fitness is that alcohol will hinder my health goals.
So my focus is shifting to being my best and healthiest self which means cleaning up my nutrition as I prepare to launch the 7 Day FREE Eat Clean challenge - which of course means being AF!!
My story to Lose 'da Booze is unique. While I'm not yet 100% AF - my goal is to keep improving and perhaps reach that mark for my 53rd year of life!
I share this honestly because I do not consider the fact that I ended up having drinks as a failure. I continue to advocate with the principle that better is better.
Alcohol has been a part of my life for so long and I'm slowly edging it out of my life and replacing it with healthier alternatives. It's through my own lessons that I'm able to help others achieve their goals relative to this! You have to live it to understand it. So here's to continued daily improvements and to focusing on what change you can make today to reach YOUR health goals! #Healthy4LifewithHelene #NeverGiveUp #BetterisBetter #HealthGoals #Improvement
