So Much For That

So barely a week into my foray of IF my refrigerator gave up the ghost. We rent our house so we’ve been waiting patiently for a new fridge. Still don’t have one, won’t for another few days at least. As a result, my eating schedule has been all over the map and I’ve eaten more fast food this week than I have in the past two months combined. I never want to see another crunchy taco supreme for as long as we both shall live (or at least for another month or two, anyway).

Anyhoo, so much for fasting and nutrition. (As I type this entry, it’s about 8pm and I’m eating a piece of cake. With extra sugar sprinkles. Isn’t that like, against some sort of SP code of conduct or something? Like, it’s forgivable to sin, but you really try not to do it whilst in church. Lol…)

Still, I am getting stronger in my workouts, so that’s something. But because my nutrition decreased drastically, my energy levels have as well. This is the first time in over a month that I’ve “rested” two days in a row. (Though, I did move the old fridge out from its spot and scrubbed floor that hadn’t seen daylight in about 35 years. But counting that as a workout is a stretch, even for me.)

So. I’m going to do my best to start rebounding nutritionally here tomorrow even with no fridge. Won’t be perfect, but it’ll be better than what I’ve fallen into for the whole of this week. So mote it be.
