I can't believe it's almost August!

Tuesday, July 30, 2019

I kept thinking I had just blogged like a week ago and its been over a month! Wow! I'm so sorry I missed it for so long. I think I even wrote a few times that never got posted from interruptions. Anyway!

The best thing about it is that it comes with wellness time! That means I get to exercise on the clock 3 hours per week. How awesome! I plan to use that time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before going in in the morning. That way, it is less likely I will get busy and miss it. I did my first on the clock workout on Monday! Just a short run but prep, stretching, and showering time also count so it was enough.

My tummy has been super bloated and I even got some heart burn last week, which is abnormal for me. I haven't really changed my diet much. I think it is from the stress of job changes. I am excited for the change but change is stressful and my stomach reacts to stress. Then I'm stressed that my tummy is upset. It is a viscous cycle. I am hoping as things settle down, so will the aches.

I can't believe its almost August! And then September is here in no time! My knee has still been bugging me from the race in April. Sigh. It is basically fine now but I'm afraid to re-injure the muscle. It was just a sore muscle but it caused so many other problems! My run on Monday was *okay* so let's hope that is a good sign.

Well, that's it for today. I am working on August goals. I didn't really hit any of my July goals sadly. It was just a very hectic time for me!

Wow, wellness time built in! Very cool. I’m off this week and very much enjoying the unscheduled life.
