Seems there is always something....

Thankful that Maegann is not falling into the trap of hurting people back when they hurt her. Yep...another episode of "mean girls" happened today at school. This time it came from a 36-year old who is a "concern" because of her history of jail time because she almost killed her 9 year old son. Turns out she had abused five of his siblings throughout the years too. She is definitely out on probation as she was given the prison sentence June 2018. Told Maegann to report it to me right away if this gal ever verbally threatens her instead of just threatening her with mean generic words. Then we can get the police involved. I am going to talk with the administration at the school though as Maegann was not treated appropriately by the learning leader or the one admin person who was there. Just need to clarify some things as Maegann was so emotional about it when she told me everything. A huge praise is that she is beginning to bounce back from these full meltdowns much quicker now. Hours instead of weeks!

My day went as planned: groceries, trip to the dump, lunch with Isaac, started laundry, did some paid work and then just hung out with Isaac playing beach volleyball on the Wii before making supper. Tomorrow I will finish laundry and get some documentation together for the bank and then see where the day goes.

Heat is not helping a bit. Highs of 90 or so with lows around 70. Wouldn't be so bad, but that doesn't allow the house to cool off much overnight to help the next day. AC isn't looking too promising for this summer either. Oh well.... one of these days it will cool down again.

The Emerald Gems had a great 7th week for the summer BL challenge!
