Doing a bit better!

I've been doing the treadmill/weight lifting routine for...oh, forever... and getting "nowhere." Okay, not nowhere. I am stronger. I was bored with the routine and it wasn't helping me with weight loss. Then I happened to notice that a Spark Pal had posted about using the treadmill at a much steeper incline (thanks, Eliza!), and it clicked for me. Of course! I need to bump that up!
So, I put the incline at 10%. Huff puff! Too steep. But modifying to do more of my 20 minutes at 5% is manageable. It's made the sessions more challenging and more interesting, and I've already stopped the seemingly inexorable move toward weighing 5 pounds more than I'd like permanently. Fingers crossed that I can hold firm or even--still my fluttering heart!--lose a few pounds. Wouldn't THAT be wonderful?!
