I thought this was just too funny not to share!
Last night, I went to help the lady who took over my part-time job. I had just completed a 2 mile walk in the park, which consists of hills and flat spots. The drive from the park to her house is about 20 minutes and I didn't stretch after walking, like I normally do. Anyway, when I got out of the car, I was limping. I didn't notice but she made a comment asking if I had injured myself. I just laughed it off and blamed it on old-age. She made reference to my knee injury last year and we just went about our business.
I remember my grandmother always stating that she needed a few minutes for her bones to wake up before she started moving.....but she was well into her 90's. I'm way too young for this kind of action! The more I think about this, the more I realize that I often do limp when getting up after sitting for an extended length of time. How do I fix this???
I'm working on building my strength and exercising as much as I can. Have a great day!!
