Goodbye 30 pounds!

Today's weigh-in brought the good news that I'm down 30 pounds. (Actually, 31.6 pounds, if I'm being precise.) I'm very happy about that. The small changes I've made are working. In the past, I've tried to change a lot of things at once, and that has just never worked for me. My goal has been to make changes that I can sustain. I haven't given up pizza, and I don't ever intend to do so. I think it's a requirement to eat pizza if you live near Chicago. ;-)
I'm currently working on getting my exercise up and my sodium down. Eating more fruits and veggies will help with sodium. I just need to be more disciplined with exercise. However, I'm starting to do better with that too.
I have an appointment with my doctor next week. I think he will be pleased. Even if he's not, I sure am!
