Each day we are faced with new challenges and new opportunities. How we handle them makes all the difference. While I am consistent with my exercise, my diet is more of a challenge. I love food. I like to have a cocktail (or three). We use food to celebrate, to soothe, to provide comfort, and of course as sustenance. It is on the television, billboards, in magazines. Food is everywhere. So I tend to make my mistakes with what goes into my mouth. I start the day off right, choosing healthy foods in appropriate amounts. Unfortunately, some days that goes off the rails by 6pm. I am aware of my issue, and each day I try to maintain my control. Some days I win. Other days, well, oops!
