Vacation Coming Up!

Saturday I am going on vacation with my son, his girl, my daughter and her friend. We are going to the BEACH!
It's a 5 hour drive, and then we will be there until Thursday when we have to check out.
I'd like to go back to the beach for a few hours, but parking will be a problem. So we will have to probably leave by 10 :(

So many give themselves permission to eat all they want when on vacation. I am not going to do that. I

will add a few extra calories because I will drink some alcohol, but I will be very mindful. and I will be tracking via sparkpeople.

I have been working hard to make sure that I do not blow my diet while I'm on vacation. My son, his gal and I discussed the menu and we met at Aldi yesterday to shop. I then finished up the shopping by purchasing the meats at the local health food store because the quality is better. I don't eat much meat, but I'll be eating some chicken and chicken sausages this week. my family eats some grass fed beef I(not me. I only do poultry some and my daughter who is still at home only eats red meat when she's not home).

I am bringing my Vitamix so I can have my smoothies for my breakfast meal. We are also bringing an Air Fryer and and Instant Pot. Since we are eating in supper most of the time except when we go to savannah ga, money is saved. we planned together the meals. my daughter in law is watching her calories because she broke her foot and can't run so she's having to be mindful.

Our meals we are planning:

Chicken Fajitas which I will abstain from the cheese and may sub fat free greek yogurt for sour cream ... depending on the calories of it since it's low fat.
Chicken sausage "dogs" (eating like hot dogs with buns which I'll abstain from the bun), with air fryer "roasted" corn on the cob.
Burgers w/ air fried French fried potatoes ... I don't eat beef, so I'll just eat other foods. and I think I'm going to bring cauliflower to air fry. it's so good.
Chicken taco salad ... pretty much chicken fajitas over salad greens w all the fixings and tortilla chips. I will go easy on the chips.
I'll make my cashew queso to put on the fajitas and taco salad. it's sooo good.
