Day 44 Getting results

My scale had happy news this morning;slow and gentle turnaround habits are paying off. No additional stress needed; I'm taking it easy and doing small sustainable things.
This week I went to the workplace gym for a couple of short sessions. Yesterday was the first time I've used the elliptical since I became ill in December. The holdup has been ankle tendon damage from a bad news fluoroquinolone drug prescribed for pneumonia. Should I ever have it again, God forbid, I will request an alternative. I am lucky not to have had ruptured tendons, but improvement has been long and very slow. My left ankle is still not right, but good enough that 5 min going slowly seemed worth a try. I'm OK today, so I'll start adding time and effort. I've missed my favorite piece of gym equipment.
I ate a good breakfast, packed my homemade breakfast bar for mid-morning snack, and made my lunch. My department orders out at the end of the week, but I have a couple of food occasions over the weekend so eating my own light healthy lunch is by way of damage control and looking ahead.
I've already made a couple of laps around the atrium, and it's nearly time to do it again. The Wellness team provided a log for marking hourly stand/stretch/walk breaks; it reminds me not to sit too long.
