Attitude is everything!

I just came through a tough time. My body would not respond to all the good that I was doing, and my blood sugar numbers were high. I must admit, I was concerned!
Then, I changed my attitude.
1. I got a little bit more serious, and believed that I could lower my numbers. I started tracking my numbers on graph paper, and over the past month, watched them go down.
2. I became kinder and gentler with myself. I can do this! I just needed patience. I also needed to limit those treats to one or two bites.
3. I take time in my day to be mindful. Stopping movement for just 1-2 minutes a day is a healthy thing to do.
Changing my attitude is changing my actions. Every day is a new challenge, but with God's help and SparkPeople, I can do it!
