Feel the Ache!

It's been a while since my last blog entry, but I'm still working at being the healthiest version of me I can while still enjoying indulgences!

My spouse got me into aerial silk classes with her. And it is AMAZING. I can't hold myself up yet, but I CAN do foot locks and a few tricks (close to the ground). I'll have pictures on Thursday (I think).

Because of the weight lifting with my coach, and the routine with aerial silk my upper body is *always* sore. I'm steadily getting stronger. I'm well on my way to being able to do body weight pull ups. As I continue to shed excess fat, it will be easier and easier to do!

I think I want to start doing more yoga too. My hips and legs are more flexible now, but my upper body is quite stiff. Partly because of the weightlifting. Partly because I've never been super flexible.

Steadily working on stretching my legs, butt, and hips has made the constant ache more bearable. I'm just not really good with stretching my upper body. Aerial coach was the one who gave me the stretches for my hips, maybe she'll give me stretches for my shoulders, chest, back, and arms too...

But first.... a nap!
