Here we are almost halfway through the month. How are your goals coming along?
I am still partially off THE wagon over here. I say this because I have not been following my nutrition plan at all (STILL), but I am on track with lifting and running. I’ve been eating willy nilly and so naughty. My BF % has increased, I can see it and feel it. It is so true that you cannot out-work a bad diet. Nutrition really is EVERYTHING.
I’ve got to get through this challenging time, and counting macros just isn’t possible at the moment. But what IS possible is having some control over binges and cravings and not REACTING to my stress with food. It’s literally a daily struggle and a constant work in progress.
The good news is I just finished my 8 week summer lifting challenge. I feel stronger, and muscle definition is coming along. I will immediately start a new program tomorrow. Lifting is saving me right now.
I’m still running. Painful hips and all. I simply must keep going.
It is now 5 weeks until my big move to TN. Currently brainstorming how to transport 5 dogs (4 of them are BIG) and 5 cats for approx a 16 hour drive. Ideas anyone? We will be driving 2 vehicles, a car and truck. It’s going to be tricky. Seriously how to transport 5 CATS??
Anyway, I’m feeling optimistic today. I like Sundays because it’s a fresh start to a new week. It’s one day at a time. One good nutrition choice at a time. One denial of junk food at a time.
I’ve got this! I control food, it does NOT control me.
