Peaceful Sunday Morning

I feel peaceful today. I came back to SP last Sunday and have been tracking my food and using the site every day. For me it's not solely about weight--we were eating lots of red meat, and not the healthy kind--hotdogs, bacon, lunch meat . . . my body felt like crap and I was desperate to make some changes. I mean, there are two of us at home, we read that Costco hotdogs had been taste-tested best, so we bought a package and over several weeks ate all of them without freezing any. Mustard, pickles--we were a salt factory here. So now I am eating in a sane, nourishing way. Nothing wrong with a hotdog (I love them), but for me they need to be an occasionally thing, not an every day or every week thing. I feel SO much better, happier and more comfortable in my body.

This morning when I woke up, I came downstairs and wrote to my grandchildren (I send each of them a letter each week). Then I had my coffee, some egg whites and my delicious strawberry banana smoothie. Then onto SPARK to start logging my food and earning my points. The start of a great day!
