Goals & Gratitude 7/13/19

Today is St. Mildred's day, my patron saint's day. I chose St. Mildred as my saint four years ago because I thought her life was so cool and interesting. You can Google her to find out some information. I went to early morning liturgy. I was able to put my icon out for everyone to venerate, and I made cookies to pass out to everyone. It's tradition to make some food (usually something sweet) to pass out on your name day. I made chocolate chip cookie bars and everyone loved them.
The day didn't end there. I went out for lunch with my teaching school friends who I have known for 18 years. I can't believe it's been that long! Only two of us of the four are still teaching. One friend works in higher education administration and I am working on becoming an accountant. Another friend brought her new-ish baby (okay he's almost a year old!) to introduce to us. He was such a cutie! He let me hold him and he loved it when I bounced him up and down on my lap. Babies don't usually like me, so it was nice to hold one who was happy with me.
I came home and worked on homework for about 3 hours. I finished almost everything that's due tomorrow. I just have one discussion board to do tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow, I want to read a couple of chapters for next week. I have other homework to do, but I think if I just get a bunch of reading done tomorrow, that will help out.
I haven't been as good with exercising this week. In fact, I haven't exercised since last Wednesday. I just haven't had time. I hope to go for a walk or go to the gym tomorrow evening after doing homework. I want to schedule in some exercise at least 4 days this coming week. I find I'm sleeping better, for the most part, and I think that's from the exercise. I hope to go to Zumba on Monday for the first time. Last week Monday was supposed to be the first time, but I was too tired that night. So we'll try again this week, right?
1) Read 2 chapters for my accounting classes and one chapter for my Business Law class.
2) Continue to clean and purge. I worked on my kitchen tonight and cleaned out and organized my pantry.
3) Go for a walk or otherwise exercise.

2) Good friends.
3) Cute babies.
