games at the market

Had a decent day today, playing pickleball in the morning, and then spending the afternoon and evening playing board games and card games. Not the Monopoly kind, but the more complicated strategy games. I haven't really done so regularly since about ten years ago, but there's a group in Ann Arbor that I'm connected with that I may start joining in on more often. Kind of miss playing those types of games, but I also am aware that I have less patience in general for convoluted scenarios or overly complicated gameplay rules.
The organizer for that group put on a 1 year anniversary party today, at a place called Lucky's market, which has a deli inside a grocery store, and also serves beer and wine. Had a pint and a couple slices of pizza while playing games like "Potion Explosion" and "Set a Watch". Also won a game and a few puzzle books in the raffle the organizer put on. Fun time was had by me.
Couldn't resist getting some olives and chocolate covered pretzels on the way out of Lucky's Market. The sitting/eating area in the middle of the store is near the salad bad and the separate olives bar. And I went through the bulk section on the way into the market, so the chocolate covered pretzels were on my mind for nearly 7 hours before I finally grabbed some as I left the store.
