Ive always had dogs for as long as I can remember and as an adult ive always needed 2 like Noahs Ark. Thinking they'd always have company when we couldnt be there like when we had to work. It didnt always work like when my pomeranian got older (she lived to be 18 ) she wanted nothing to do with none of the dogs. Or when our hearts were broken yo put Tillie to sleep when she got an aggressive cancer st the age of 4. Theyre a part of our family and a big part part of our lives. I cant imagine my life without them. Stormie our now 10 year oldcocker spaniel who is now blind (she has adjusted well) and Maizey our 1 1/2 year old husky springer whos full of energy. www.sparkpeople.

I always had cats in my life. I got my fist dog when I was 35...I think because the boys so wanted one. It wasn't until then I understand how different dogs were from cats. The cats were always so independent; they could take you or leave you at their will. Dogs are always ready to be at your side whenever you want them or when they sense you need them.

They all become such a big part of the family I can't imagine not have at least one.

I checked out your photos. Great pix!
I had a cat who was a stray that I took in. She was blind, too. She did surprisingly well in the house, after bumping into stuff for a couple days.

You have a great love for dogs-they were all so fortunate to have you for a Momma! I looked at your pet photos on your spark page-all very sweet! It’s so hard when you they pass away!
