Working it!

Back in April, my girlfriends and I started using Beach Body On Demand. Us old ladies would get together 3 or 4 nights a week and workout. There were 3 of us at the beginning. We started Lift 4. I don't know if you know the program, but, Joel Freeman (the coach) is a sadist. We developed a love/hate relationship. After 2 weeks another friend joined us and we restarted the 8 week program for her. Sadly, she didn't stick it out. Too busy, too hard, too time consuming, a litany of excuses. Now we were back to the original 3. By week 4 (should've been on week 6, but who's counting?), the third member of our group began to falter. Needless to say, she would only make once out of the 4 weekly sessions and by week 8 she was gone.
I am proud to say, we finished all 8 weeks. It was a killer, but I lost 3 1/2 inches in my waist! Didn't lose a single pound, but I still made progress. It's hard to accept the scale when it doesn't budge. It's very frustrating, so I avoid getting on it. I have received numerous compliments about my appearance, my cloths fit better and I have started the 21 Day Fix. Just finished the first week.
All in all, if I keep working it, I should eventually see those numbers go down.
