Karen just wanted to stay home and do some organizing at home yesterday since there will be nothing doing for Tim. He was a veteran, but never joined any vet organizations. He just wanted to leave with no fanfare or service of any kind. She did put his obit on TV with the newscasts, but that is it.
It is like he just blended back into nothing. I will call her again in a few minutes to see if she wants me to go out there with her. She lives way out in the country in another township about a 15 minute drive from my house. It is difficult to be there for somebody when they want to be left to do things alone. She needs nothing, makes more money than I do, always has just the right thing at home that she already bought, has very specific tastes, so anything I want to do for her will just be another task she would have to take care of later, like a plant or such.
Even her dogs are sick(very old). She has three pugs; Cooper and Ripley are very old and can barely move, need constant care and meds. Walther is about two years old and a PIA. Not trained and constantly barks when we are visiting.
I continue to pray for this family that is in need of help, but one person handles it all. Terry, her mentally challenged brother, is 69 years old and cannot help with anything.
I just keep praying for them all and calling her every day to bug her into getting out of that house.
