A little wore out this morning- we went to the waterpark and stayed from 1:30-7:00 and I dont believe I hardly got out of the water at all. Rewarding from that- the scale went from 269 yesterday morning to 266.4 this morning. I know a lot is water weight right now from where I've just started drinking water and cutting back on pop- but it's still super exciting to see those numbers drop.
I realized that weekends are going to be more difficult for me than most anything else. In my culture (the south), we connect t eating with family. It's almost rude if you deny food or say you aren't hungry right now. I'm working around this by just letting them know I'm dieting and alloting for calories to eat healthy portions. Yesterday wasn't bad- we had a steak meal, but if I would have went over my calories for the day by 28 if I hadn't have burned so many calories swimming.
It's nice to have a place to come and organize all these thoughts and come up with a plan. It a part of my day that I really look forward to!
