Like a brick falling on my head, it occurred to me this morning,(as I was pleased as punch with a one pound loss for the week), that my expectations for myself are not in line with my 5% challenge. To lose 5%, about 1.5 pounds a week is what I need. Yet, I am pleased with the progress I have made--slow, but sure. Hmmm, am I in the wrong challenge, or do I need to adjust my plan? I know, for me, I must find a way to not feel deprived, to really love and enjoy my new lifestyle, or I will not stick with it.
Edit: no, I did not make my 5%, but I did drop 5 more, and most importantly, stayed steady with tracking and excersing. I have signed up for Fall, and will keep on keepin' on!
