A Passed Test

The last 24 hours have been quite a stressful adventure! My darling husband's Big Truck broke down just past Texarkana, Arkansas on his way to San Antonio! He limped her into a truck repair shop and one of the guys took him on down to the truck stop where he hoped to snag a ride to Shreveport, Louisiana to pick up a rental to get the load delivered. No rides, no available taxis, no available Ubers, and no where to sleep but in a chair in the trucker's lounge. It was stressful for me to try to coach him through setting up the Uber app which I was smart enough (!) to realize I could do online and just give him the password. He is not at all tech savvy other than he can do Facebook... Well, it took until this morning to get that totally accomplished so he could pay when our manager found him an available Uber and he did get down to Louisiana this morning and is on his way in the rental truck. The point of this long-winded story is that I did not stress eat or even consider it which I did not even realize until today!

In other news I have met my goals for the day and am tired but encouraged. The heat really saps me but I am working on getting out at least 15 minutes every day with Bella Bumdoggie, twice if I can muster it because now she thinks it is "a thing" we are going to do EVERY DAY morning and evening! The bunnies and squirrels are not at all happy about that and an adult deer passed right in front of us this morning at a T in the trail!!!!!

This is my walking companion who much prefers sniffing over forward progress. I tell my husband that sniffing is her "Facebook." emoticon

Wow, that was a lot going on for your poor hubby. Glad you were able to help him even though you weren't there. Good job not stress eating. You rock. emoticon
It is starting to get hot here too. Glad I get out early. The heat drains me too.
What a cute walking friend. We have bunnies too and when we walk with Riley he see them and the walk stops. He slows down and stares walks slow like he is going to get them We have him on a leash, lo.
    Have a nice evening. emoticon
