HELP I think I like this exercise - Water Fitness

Tuesday, July 09, 2019

I went to water fitness again today, and this time the original instructor was there. He must be good, and he was, since there were 26 55+ year olds there.

I had a great time, and I defiantly got some strength training in. This beats weights anytime.
Still need to work on balance. He did quite a few exercises when we are on one leg.
Any Idea's for working on balance?

I am planning on going Thursday for my third class.

After class I went and sat in the hot tub. WOW--that was great. I sat and talked a little bit with a gentleman who was also in the class. He told me this class has been going for 10 years. It started out with only 5 people, and the largest was 36 people, ten less then today.

He stated that it was nice to see men in the group, since they like to just sit. I'm not sure how many there were, but I think 5 or 6.

Since the center offers financial assistance, I'm going to see about passes. This class also goes on into the winter, and thankfully not far from my home. So no excuses. emoticon

I feel great. Now I'm going to see if there is another class I may want to take. OH HELP-- I'm starting to like exercising emoticon

I must mention, I do like the people in the class. It is relaxed, but we work out.

I enjoyed reading your blog. I joined the YMCA in May and take swimming lessons and Hydro Fit (water aerobics) classes too. The water aerobics classes have male and female seniors. I've made lots of friends and look forward to each class every day. Lost of few lbs and feel emoticon Enjoy your classes and emoticon
